Qualifications:
- Hold or be qualified for an Oregon Administrative License
- Have at least 4 years of Special Education experience
- Have a successful record of community relations
Desired Qualities:
- Understand school programs and culture
- Working knowledge of small schools
- Experience working with school budgets
- Working knowledge of integration of technology
- Knowledge of school improvement planning
- Willing to be an active contributor to the Colton community
The Colton School District is located in Clackamas County along the foothills of the Mt. Hood National Forest, approximately 45 miles from the centers of Salem and Portland. It is a progressive school district consisting of grades K-12, with a configuration of K-5, 6-8, & 9-12 and an enrollment of approximately 600. There has been a history of strong support of the school district by its patrons.
The salary range for the 2025-26 school year is per contract which is being negotiated. 221 days (4 day school day), depending on experience an expected range is $110,000 - $140,000.
